I had thought about posting up this poem a few weeks ago but given the rotten weather we'd been having, I found the title a tad miserable. It is a 160 line work by William Morris, narrated by Nick Gisburne.

Generally I tend to think that WM rattled his poetry off without too much polishing, but I've always liked this High Romantic stuff. One sees it in technicolor.'The Haystack in the Floods' is a wonderful image of desolated eroticism.
Couldn't bear the glum voice, though. -
