Maybe he didn't catch what I was saying about having the snip done, after all. He has come back of his own accord, and the cat flap is now firmly closed.

I wondered about the snip. It is a good idea in any case - too many impregnated cats aren't a great idea. Although it does keep the rats down if the kittens are allowed to live.

If ALL the boy cats have a snip, there would soon be no cats left, but it does seem as if Teddy's time has come.
I do believe that owners of lady cats also have a duty to have theirs spayed at an appropriate moment, which is what we had done to Teddy's mother, Totty, after she'd had him.

He probably went for a meal if he's got used to being fed elsewhere. Fickle little blighters cats are! But if it's more than just a meal that he's after, the snip should help to stop his straying
