I really must congratulate Saeed's Fabrics for the great job they have done on the refit of 96 High Street. They openned for business this morning - and a beautiful blue-skied day it has turned out to be - pulling aside the doors to reveal a spacious and airy emporium of wonderful fabrics, which are well chosen and well-laid out. The ceiling of the shop makes the place look more like it could be a grand dining room than a cloth shop, with the beautiful new oak beams and chandaliers.
It has been a long wait, but I think the work they have put in on their venture shows. I very much hope that they prosper, next door to Faris's Supermarket.
