The cars in my street have today been adorned with fliers for the Chan Wu Yi Physical Culture Centre, an outfit which has set up at 152-154 Blackhorse Road, just over the road from the Blackhorse Road tube station, in a building that has been used in the past by Circle 33 Housing Trust and the council's environmental department.
They have website, www.chinesegongfu.co.uk, and have also posted about themselves and thier immediate envirnoment on Youtube:
The centre is offering classes in GongFu, Taiji, Chinese Kickboxing 'and more', which I take to be the Henglong Shaolin Medicine Clinic. I am not sure what Mr Zhong will think of travelling half way round the world to find he now has competition, but he may well find people interested in this gym, or the Chinese Shop in the High Street, will be interested in his remedies. There is a ladies only gym, called Body Shapers, in the High Street.
