Between Khan Video Centre and the empty premises which once were the Coach and Horses in St James's Street, Rahat Hairdressers does not have a great position for passing trade. It makes up for this in part by offering the cheapest gents haircuts in the neighbourhood. At five pounds, I am not aware that there is anywhere cheaper.
They also offer ladies hair and beauty treatments, though I notice that they have an advert in the window for a beautician, so ladies may like to phone first to see if this is still available. As with a number of local hairdressers, including Sonia's Hair and Beauty up the road, they do not make clear to female customers just what everything costs through any display of prices in the window.
