At 194 High Street is Arina, one of the most visually pleasing of the fabric shops in the High Street. The premises stand at the T junction with Westbury Road, facing Barclays on the corner to its left and CK Pots and Pans to the corner on the right. On the Arina side of the road, this shop can be found between High Street Kebabish and Quicksilver.
The shop has some beautiful sequined Asian outfits in its left hand window, in purple, mauve, pink, yellow and blues. Above these hang many attractive scarves and some handbags. Inside are numerous bales of bright material for dressmaking on racks. The shop is well worth a visit by people shopping at the nearby Textile Centre, The Fabric Store, the New Fabric Store, Hussain Fabrics, P.C.E. Fabric Store, The Haberdashery and Connexions .
To the right of the entrance is a small counter with accompanying sound system, selling asian movie dvds and music cds of asian remixes, bangra and urban rai. They also sell phone cards.
