There is a Percy Ingle further down the road at the corner of High Street and Mission Grove. This one has the same cakes and donuts on sale as that. It also has similar counters, similar green decore and teapot sign out the front. Its basically a bakers where people can eat in and drink tea or buy things to eat out. A sausage sandwich costs £2.20 and soup costs a £1.
They do, for £2, sell something called a 'kiddies box' which is presumably the kind of healthy food our council would prefer school children to be tucking into instead of going to Perfect Fried Chicken down the road. This amounts to a donut, a sausage roll and a bottle of Robinson's 'Fruit Shoot'. The Strawberry flavour consists of: Water, Strawberry Juice from Concentrate (10%), Citric Acid, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Natural Flavouring, Vitamins (C, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, B6, B12), Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Dimethyl Dicarbonate), Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesulfame K), Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum), Colour (Anthcyanins). Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
