There are a number of currently empty premises on the High Street: the site of the old Unique Nails shop, next door to Amin Opticians is not being used at present.
The site of the hairdressers formerly known as Ikon are available to rent. Animal Magic has stood empty for many months. Rumours is also looking for a new tenant, as, I hope, are the owners of Woolworths.
Over on Coppermill Lane, the shop at 1A, Jewels Fashion and Accessories seems to be available for people looking for a suitable site, while on St James's Street, there are opportunities at the site of a derelict business next to Oxfam, called Star Utilities, which may be related to the Star Mortgage & Property Services.
The grand-daddy of them all, the Arcade Site, remains idle with the assistance of the numpty-squad.
