Bon Marché, at 166-170 High Street, is not, as the name may suggest, a French shop, nor is it part of a famous chain of shops bearing this name from the United States. In fact, it is part of the group that owns Peacocks over the road. It is a British ladieswear retailer aiming for the 45+ age group. They are currently having a 'mid season sale'.

Hi there! - Peacocks clothing is not really aimed at the 45+ age group - they have a range of fashions for all ages. Peacocks have always managed to react quickly to produce the latest fashions and looks - i love some of their Autumn/Winter 2008 range. The 'build your look' section of the site is prety cool as well. Byyeee
