Gambling in Walthamstow High Street

As a result of a representation received during the consultation period, it is likely that the application by Metrobet to open yet another gambling outlet will now be referred to the Councils Licensing Committee to be determined.

The date is yet to be arranged however- it will possibly be heard within the next 4 - 6 weeks.

Depressing as it is to have these betting shops invading, we must ask if it could be worse...
