Cheltenham and Gloucester

At 128-130 High Street used to stand a branch of Cheltenham and Gloucester plc, which is part of the Lloyds TSB empire.

This quiet branch closed on 30 November 2007. The nearest C&G branch is now at 36 Old Church Road, Chingford, tel 0208 529 0041.

The High Street branch had some friendly staff who had been handling branch savings accounts and mortgages. C&G also has postal and telephone access accounts.

The C&G does not do retail banking such as current accounts, nor do they have an internet savings account.
