BAD Warehouse occupies a position on the Sainsbury's side of Palmerstone Road where it crosses the High Street and makes an interesting contrast to Children's Empire which is diagonally opposite. Next door is Bardo.

B.A.D. stands for Brand Authorised Distributer. This shop is full of designer clothes, in particular sportswear, at what we are left to infer are reduced prices agreed by the brands concerned. A sign in the window tells us that there are standard reductions which are related to the original recommended retail price set by the manufacturers, so that an RRP of 9.99 means an item sells for three pounds, 27.99 items sell for nine pounds and an RRP of 54.99 will sell at BAD for twenty-five pounds.

Inside, there is clothing bearing the labels of Rivington Sportswear, Emporio Armani, Major League Baseball, Puma, Brookhaven, Timberland, Adidas, McKenzie, Fred Perry, Ben Sherman, Nike, Fila, Reebok and FCUK. By the till there are bangles, belts and hair bands on sale to complete the ensembles.

They also have another small shop further up the High Street next door to the Chinese Shop.
