Robert Barron is one of the more established hairdresser businesses on the High Street. Like Snowdrop and Excel World, they are not afraid to put details of the services available and their prices clearly displayed in their window. My mother, who can be quite vain when she wants to be, has been to this busy salon and didn't come back feeling either ignored, patronised or looking like an identikit pensioner, which is a worry with some places.
They describe themselves as hair designers for man, woman and child, though truth be told, one does not often see men in the salon. They specialise in bridal hair and have a regular need for models on Monday evenings at 5.30pm. A sign in the windows advertises their services in Polish.
