Next door to Hussain Fabrics and one of the two Greggs on the High Street there used to be a shop called Clothing Club. There were no details about its phone number or the exact number of the shop on the business's double shop frontage.
They did display, shortly before their demise the information that they were conducting a sale with up to 70% off the original prices on selected items. Inside there were sale signs hanging from the ceiling round the shop and there was a sale rack by the door, with other goods marked as reduced at other parts of the store.
They sold inexpensive women's clothing. The shop was for a time then occupied by a fruit and vegetable seller who was in the 'pound a bowl' business, before three tiny lock-up units being built into the front to the right of the main door. The one to the right is a bag and ladieswear business run by Amir, and the next is the Trimming Centre.
