Hussain Fabrics, at number 52a High Street is one of my sister's favourite types of local shop. It sells sari lengths of fabric as well as fabric by the metre or yard.

The windows have several mannequins in bright combinations of cloth, many embroidered or sequined and the walls round the shop are also adorned with a wonderful display of colourful fabrics at very reasonable prices. As well as the customers one would expect, from the ethnic communities which have connections with South Asia, one often sees fashionistas eyeing up the wares.
