With an excellent position on the corner of Carisbrooke road, opposite Tagone Telecom, is another internet cafe and phone call business which grandly advertises itself as The Communications Centre, though part of the shop front tells us that this is also the home of The Right Property Experience.
The internet cafe part of the business in the open plan set up, is actually the enterprise of -Go Direct For Less (Walthamstow) Ltd., Tel 0208 520 6156. They run a members scheme for internet access, charging members 20p per half hour, non-members 25p, which is the same rate charged at Togane Telecom over the road. The Communications Centre also offers photocopying and will rent out a mailbox for those who need one for one pound a week.
The other business, Right Property Limited, aims to supply a roof over the head experience to punters who have gone with the internet and mailbox rental experiences. They do not have much local rental property in the window - they are advertising a place in Borehamwood, but there is a 2 bedroomed flat for rent in Lloyd Road for 200pounds per week.
A small number of local houses are for sale in a range from 229,995 pounds for a 2 bedroomed place in Wyats Lane to 450,000 pounds for a three bedroomed property on three floors (it has a basement) round the corner on Blackhorse Lane. This last one seems a bit high to me as the other three bedroomed ones go from 255,000 to 285,000pounds, but one can never tell: it may be a realistic valuation and not an advertisement to encourage more house sellers to come inside. Local gossips in the business tell that this may just be a case of a vendor with unrealistic expectations. [I have not included the 2 bedroom flat in Low hall Road at 175,000pounds in this range because it is only a 'long lease' but they don't make clear how long that is or what the position is about acquiring the freehold].
