Beard trims and neck shaves are three pounds, children and senior citizens pay five pounds and haircuts for gents cost between six and seven pounds depending on whether the place is busy or not.
Further elaboration on the sign above the door tells us that French Crops, Undercuts, Colouring, Highlights and Shaves with Hot Towel Massages are all available on request.
To the left of the door, Beste is also a ladies' hairdresser. For a long time, no list of prices or services was available. This was par for the course for the ladies last year when I first started this blog, who were left equally ill-informed at many of the Ladies hairdressers on the High Street. Gradually, things have improved locally: Beste now seems to have some arrangement with Classic Hair Salon , which is no longer above Hair and Beauty UK Ltd and also has a sign in the left hand window offering some very intricate hair dressing services at easy to understand prices, for those who know what they are:
